First workshop on Climate Change
The last week in February, the first workshop on climate change within Forum Syd's pilot project was conducted in Sihanoukille in Cambodia. Participants from ten local organisations took part in the four day long workshop, which was lead by a consultant with an expertise in climate change.
Cord, Danish Church Aid/Christian Aid (DCA/CA) and Forum Syd collaborate on an initiative aimed at building capacity among local Cambodian NGOs to address threats posed by climate change in Cambodia. The project supports local NGOs in developing program activities which can effectively respond to those threats.
